What It Is

Our faculty, parents, and students were struggling with how to navigate social media. We needed to adopt a full curriculum to address it.

My Role

I conducted a needs analysis, evaluated curriculum options, and facilitated a teacher feedback process to guide selection. After adoption, I designed a professional learning plan with workshops, model lessons, and coaching. I also built digital support resources housed on our LMS and feedback loops to help teachers adjust confidently.

Impact

• Reduced social-media-related incidents by equipping students with practical digital citizenship skills.

• Built strong consensus among parents and faculty around the new curriculum, leading to widespread adoption.

• Established a cohesive, school-wide curriculum from grades 4 through 12 to ensure continuity in digital learning outcomes.

• Increased faculty confidence and effectiveness in delivering technology-integrated instruction through tailored professional learning.
